Another major drawback is that the sound quality (at this point you can just call it nitpicking). Maybe it's just me because I have potato PC, the CPU usage is always more than 50%. However, some of the major cons of this DAW is that using loads of 3rd party plugins just makes the software go haywire, sometimes when I do heavy sound design, there's sound coming out of the master channel even when the playback is stopped, and even if I press the panic button. And imo the most impressive and my favorite feature is the customization of shortcuts to speed up workflow. And the general usability like dragging clips fading in/out, cross-fading, tape stop, changing pitch of samples, drawing MIDI notes, using 3rd party vst plugins, etc is so simple and easy (coming from a guy who learned music production in FL studio). There's hardly any complex routing system, but you can do that if you want using patches and sends almost like FL Studio. I've been using this DAW for 4 months now and some the major pros are that its so user-friendly. This is an appreciation and general discussion post, for the Waveform 11 free.
